Updated "Items - Comics" page, new pics and interesting article.

Hello there everyone. I thought it was time to update the "Items - Comics". All the issues have been linked for purchase through Hurricane Entertainment's site and more info have been added. Interesting pictures have also been added here and there but I'm too tired to list all of them here so you have to find them for yourselves. It's more fun that way.

I have also found an interesting and unusual article from Celtic Soup called:
"Frightening Similarity Between W. Bush & the president in Escape From L.A.". It's great to see that EFLA can contribute and bring up interesting topics when discussing the society and the modern world.  "Good science-fiction has to have an element of truth, there's something about it you have to believe..." - John Carpenter "

Updated Resin Model Kit Page ("Items - Action Figures" Page)

My Swedish friend and contributor Lars Olsson have some more information and Resin Model Kits for you. Four more figures are added and two are available for purchase. Lars was a pioneer selling Resin Model Kits here in Sweden so I'm very fotuned to have him by my side. We love Snake here in Sweden.

I also found a screenshot of my old Page from a review of my site in German. Thank you Germany. Check it out here if you know German. I decided to put it up in my "News - Introduction" page for some nostalgic feel.

17/10 - 05:
Snake Plissken Chronicles

I've added some more info on the comic book in the "News - Snake Plissken Chronicles" Page and added the upcoming collected four-issue Trade Paperbook in the "Items - Comics" Page. It's very nice to see things moving again.

12/10 - 05:
New "Items - Photos" Page

I discovered a site called "Movie Market" who sell photos in three sizes. They have seven Snake photos for you to buy. You can check them out in my new page.

11/10 - 05:
Updated "Items - Magazines" page

There is more magazines in this section for you to order. I discovered that Starlog and Starburst also sell their old magazines online. The links to Fangorias magazines are also repaired.

Third update this day!

After a visit to SnakePlissken.Net's message board I found a lot of interesting info and stuff. There was some new stuff about the Snake Plissken Chronicles etc. That's why I decided to add some more info on all my pages in the news section. There is a new "Current Status" info and some more. I also found three interesting art pictures and even lyrics to a Snake Plissken song by a german group etc. I was thinking of getting a message board myself but why should I when it already exists a great one. This is why I decided to add a  link to it in my "News" section. Join and spread your word.

I have also added a new section in the "News" section called: "SE DVDs". I thought it could be appropriate when EFNY is released on a special edition DVD in UK october 17. It seems to almost be identical to the US one. Go ahead and take a look. I have also added it to my "Items" section.

Escape Big Trouble in New Jersey!

I updated just ten minutes ago but after a visit to Wing King Exchange I found out that a fan movie called "
Escape Big Trouble in New Jersey" have been shot and is coming in mid-October at: www.blinky-productions.com. This sounds really fun.

Here's what Chris Notarile of Blinky Productions had to say about the film:

"Escape Big Trouble in New Jersey is currently in production. Filming began last Sunday and is expected to carry on till this Tuesday. For all you BTLC fans, you will all be very happy to know I've loaded this movie with all of your favorite Jack Burton moments. From, "Is it getting hot in here?" to "It's all in the reflexes." this movie is meant to show Jack Burton in all his bumbling glory.

After what happened in Little China, Jack is now driving cross country with a convoy bound for New
Jersey. The year is 1997 and as Jack stops off for the night to get a beer, he runs into none other, Snake Plissken, who has just escaped New York.

Big trouble shortly ensues when Dredeye, the Duke's younger brother, enters the bar, (tipped off by the cops) looking for the man he thinks killed his brother. One thing leads to another and not before long, Jack and Snake are forced to team up and fight their way out.

10/10 - 05:
New Guestbook, Fan Fiction Stories etc

My last Guestbook was ruined by spam so I got me a new one. I have kept and added all the messages from the last one because I want to keep all the nice words. It would be a shame otherwise. So please go ahead and write stuff. Feedback is important for me.

There is also two new fan fiction stories from FanFiction.Net for you. The First one is Called: "Escape From San Diego" and the Second one: "No Escape". Check them out in the "Press - Fan Fiction" section. Somehow I can't link to them so they're linked to the main page for you to find them yourself.

And here's an odd thing: Reviews from a fan script of Escape From Earth. I can't find the script but reviews are available on Filmrot.com. It may be the closest thing we'll ever get on Escape From Earth.

In the middle of everything I stumbled across an interview with Snake Plissken Chronicles makers: Bill O'Neil, Jan Utstein - O'Neill and Tone Rodriguez on Fanboy Planet.com. Nothing much is happening with Snake Chronicles these days except for that collected issue of all the four released issues. There's nothing new on the game or the game either. Let us all pray.
You can find the interview in the "News - Snake Plissken Chronicles" section.

09/10 - 05:
New section and new pics

My computer broke down again folks and I didn't have the will to fix it. (It isn't the first time). I thought my computer didn't like me and I didn't wanted to bother with it for some time. A relative finally fixed it and he told me our regular computer repairman had messed thing up, like adding a secret password somewhere and installed wrong stuff etc. They are behaving more and more like car mechanics these days. Don't trust these assholes.

Finally I can start working with my page again. I have a new little section in the "Press" area. It's basicly just a link to Gayle Bykowicz "Snake Plissken vs Solid Snake's Comics Page" but I really needed to add it because it's very cool. My friend and contributer Joe Thornton is also part of it. Be sure to check it out if you haven't already.

Then I  have some more interesting pics for you. I have managed to find three more Snake wannabees pictures and more drawings (some from Gayle Bykowicz). Also, a guy called Julien Lauber emailed me a very nice drawing of Snake confronting The Thing. Be sure to check it out! Then we have some new cool action figures pics etc.

The Thing Links/Snake Plissken vs Solid Snake Comic

Hi folks, there's two new The Thing sites for you to enjoy. The first one is called "The Thing Fan Site" by a guy called Stefan and he has a huge The Thing collection etc. The other site is created by a friend of his and it's called "Butterman's The Thing Site" and has lot's of interesting stuff too. Be sure to check them out.

Speaking of sites, Gayle (Snake Plissken vs Solid Snake) is finished with her comic book. She finished it a week ago and I had a blast reading it. I won't spoil you the ending but it sure made me happy. Read it here

Fangoria says no/Resin Model Kits

Fangoria Magazine published three great EFLA articles in 1996 and since I own these issues I thought they would be a very nice thing to add. Then it hit me: Why aren't there more Fangoria articles in the net? So I emailed them and asked very polite if I could add them on this site but they said no. I can partly understand them but these articles belongs on websites for people who shares the same interests. Don't you agree? I don't think something horrible would happen to me if I added them but you never know, Fangoria is after all a horror magazine. Anyway I did do a magazine page on the "Items" section though, so you can order them for yourself.

Then we have an extended "Action Figures/Resin Model Kits" page. A Swedish fella called Lars Olsson emailed me a bunch of great info on the Resin Model Kits. Be sure to check it out. Also, If someone finds or have a good picture of Snake's tattoo be sure to drop him an email because he dreams of having one for himself.

21/05 - 05:
I'm back again!

Where to start? First: I have found an interesting site called "Snake Plissken vs Solid Snake" created by Gayle Bykowicz. I found lot's of cool drawings and a fan fiction story called (yes you guessed it) "Snake Plissken vs Solid Snake" etc. It's very nice to see new Snake pages out there so please give it a visit. I emailed her to ask if I could put up her drawings and she said yes so go ahead and have a peak. She also told me that she is working on a comic book about Snake vs Solid Snake. Something to look forward to.

Second: Derek who created the cool Escape From New York AD-Aware Skin sended me an unseen concept poster picture of Escape From New York. Be sure to check it out here.

Third: I've added two pictures of me as Snake in the introduction page. Some people have said I resemble Kurt Russell, you'll be the judge. It would be fun if more would do it and send pictures to me.

20/05 - 05:
And faster!

I've added my EFLA screenshots! I'm waiting for some more but why wait? I have also written a new introduction if you're interested, I felt it was neccessary after all the changes. It feels very good to finally have everything up. It sure was a lot of work but it was worth it. I hope you feel it too.

17/05 - 05:
Things happens fast!

That's right, most of my EFLA stuff is allready up. I've been working 2 whole days on this and more will follow. For instance the EFLA screens isn't up yet. I'm waiting to recieve some from Stefan Bommelin (author of Assault on Webpage 13) but he has no internet for the moment. Anyway, browse around and enjoy yourself amigos.

13/05 - 05:
I'M BACK!!!

I know it't been a while since I last updated this page but there was some annoying computer problems and I lost interest etc. But now I'm back and I have no plans on leaving you. By the way the design and logo is brand new as you may have noticed. I felt it was too hard to keep optimizing this site for two screen sizes and to keep track of all the htm files so I decided to work on one page that could work in both sizes. I hope you enjoy it and please send me your thoughts about it.    I have also seriously began working on adding EFLA to this page!!! (see logo) There isn't anything yet but you better keep your eyes on this site because things will happen.

Also a guy called Derek emailed me a long time ago about a cool Escape From New York AD-Aware Skin he'd made. Better late then never Derek. Check it out in the "Multimedia - Skins/Sounds" section. There is also a lot of new screenshots, snake art and some new wannabees pics etc.
