Description [Propstore]:
Snake Plissken's [Kurt Russell] costume from John Carpenter's action sequel
Escape From L.A. Plissken wore his costume while traversing the perilous
island that was once Los Angeles on a mission forced onto him by the United
States government.
This lot consists of a gray synthetic-blend sleeveless top with a black mesh
overlay and sewn-in leotard to keep it tucked, and a matching pair of trousers
with boot stirrups and fastening strip segments around the waist and thighs.
Both elements are hand-marked "Kurt Hero" with the top additionally hand-marked
"1/16/96." The lot exhibits some wear from use and age, including shoulder seams
loosening and fading of the markings.

This black SWAT team uniform was worn by
the character Malloy portrayed by actor Stacy Keach in John Carpenter's 1996
motion picture Escape From L.A., which also starred Kurt Russell. The black
uniform consists of shirt, matching pants, web belt, and hat and is in excellent
condition. Comes accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.

Description [Celebrity Authentics]: From John Carpenter's classic 1996 Escape
From L.A. is this Snake Plissken Hero M16 Assault Rifle used during filming
which stars Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken, portrayed by Kurt Russell. Measures
approximately 22" in length and made of rubber/resin. Snake is once again called
in by the United States government to recover a potential doomsday device from
Los Angeles, now an autonomous island where undesirables are deported. This rare
and highly coveted prop ships with Celebrity Authentics Letter of Authenticity
personally signed by John Carpenter.

"Snake Plissken" Revolver. Original prop Smith Wesson model 649 revolver prop
used in the production of Escape From L.A. [1996], the post-apocalyptic
action where, Snake Plissken is once again called in by the United States
government to recover a potential doomsday device from Los Angeles, now an
autonomous island where undesirables are deported. Painted and finished in
metallic silver and black to appear as a real metal and plastic weapon. Right
side of barrel reads "44 Magnum". In good condition.

Description
[ScreenUsed]:
This stunt pistol was used on screen by Kurt Russell as "Snake Plissken"
and Pam Grier as "Hershe Las Palmas". Made of hard rubber, this is the static
nonworking version used during stunt work on the film. This is the style gun
Snake takes from Hershe as he threatens to kill her.

Heckler & Koch SP89
Description [Premiere Props]:
This
is a prop stunt machine gun used in the action films Speed and Escape
From L.A. The gun was used by Dennis Hopper's character Howard Payne in the
1994 adventure Speed, and was also used by Kurt Russell for his portrayal
of Snake Plissken in John Carpenter's Escape From L.A. from 1996. The gun
is a model Heckler & Koch SP89 that has been made to look like an MP5K and is
made from rubber and painted silver and black. The breech is missing due to use
during production.

Submarine Miniature Model
Description [Propstore]:
This item is Snake Plissken's [Kurt Russell] hero shark 3 submarine model
from the 1996 action movie, Escape From L.A. The year is 2013 and it's up to
Snake Plissken to find the President's daughter and retrieve the doomsday device
before it's too late. This submarine model was used as Plissken's transportation
and can be first seen in the beginning sequence of the film. The item has a hard
plastic body and features detailed line indentations throughout the top, front
and sides, as well as sleek black back fins and a front grill. Attached to the
body are two metal rods which exhibit white glass circles fixed to the front of
their holes. There are three red plastic [light fixture-like] pieces on the top
and one on each side of both rods. The item measures approximately 72" x 17"
[183 cm x 43 cm] and is in very good condition.

Map to the Stars Eddie Hang Glider Miniature Puppet
Description [ScreenUsed]:
This miniature hang glider and person were custom-made by the production
for use as "Map to the Stars Eddie" flying down from the Hollywood sign. The
miniature is extremely detailed down to the patterns on the clothing and stripes
on his shoes. Some restoration may be needed as the miniature has aged a bit
since the production, as can be seen in the pictures. The overall measurements
of the glider is approximately 38" wide by 24" long. The miniature Eddie
measures approximately 15" tall.

This miniature hang glider and person were custom-made by the production
for use as "Hershe Las Palmas" [played by Pam Grier] flying down from the
Hollywood sign. The miniature is extremely detailed down to the patterns on the
clothing and different hair coloring. Some restoration may be needed as the
miniature has aged a bit since the production, as can be seen in the pictures.
The overall measurements of the glider is approximately 38" wide by 24" long.
The miniature Hershe measures approximately 15" tall.

Surgery Victim Mask [Rick Baker Auction - Lot 160]

A mask for a surgery victim from John Carpenter's sci-fi adventure
Escape From LA. This piece was created for use by a background actor in the
Surgeon General of Beverly Hills' [Bruce Campbell] lair. The slip latex mask is
painted in great detail to appear as though skin from two victims had been
crudely stitched together. The piece features hand-punched hair throughout and
small black string tied to approximate stitches. A tear runs up the back of the
neck to allow for easy dressing and removing. This mask is offered on a wood and
metal base and remains in good condition. Dimensions on base: 10" x 10" x 18"
[25 cm x 25 cm x 46 cm].

A mask for a surgery victim from
John Carpenter's sci-fi adventure Escape From LA. This piece was created
for use by a background actor in the Surgeon General of Beverly Hills' [Bruce
Campbell] lair. The slip latex mask is painted in great detail to appear as
though the character had been subjected to a face change, with areas on the
front of the face created in foam latex appliances. Small sections of black
string act as stitching along the edges of the face. A tear runs up the back of
the neck to allow for easy dressing and removing. This mask features wear and
dirt residue but remains in good condition. Dimensions on base: 10" x 9" x 15"
[25 cm x 23 cm x 38 cm].

John Carpenter's sci-fi adventure Escape From LA. This piece was created
for use by a background actor in the Surgeon General of Beverly Hills' [Bruce

though the character’s lower jaw were stretched or attached to the roof of the
mouth. The piece features hand-punched hair throughout. A tear runs up the back

Description
[Propstore]:
A lot of surgery victim appliances
from John Carpenter's sci-fi adventure Escape From LA. These appliances
were created for use by background actors in the lair of the Surgeon General of
Beverly Hills [Bruce Campbell]. This lot consists of two hand appliances and
various head appliances including eyes, ears, nose, and full face pieces. The
appliances are made of foam latex and some are painted with varying detail.
Cracking has occurred around the edges and untrimmed flash is present but these
appliances remain in otherwise good condition. Effective Dimensions: 17" x 17" x
9" [43 cm x 43 cm x 23 cm]

Description [Live Auctioneers]:
Snake Plissken [Kurt Russell] is once again in an apocalyptic world in
John Carpenter's Escape From L.A. [1996]. In one of the key scenes, Russell
along with the alluring Taslima [Valeria Golino], are captured and end up in the
"lab" of the "Surgeon General of Beverly Hills" [Bruce Campbell], who wants to
harvest their "fresh" body parts for the many rich Bev Hill "patrons'" who
desperately need major work on their own melting faces and organs.
All the body parts were made by Special Effects Make-Up Wizard Andrea Le Vine,
and comes from her private collection. They include a Letter of Provenience from
Le Vine.
